This simple guideline will show you how to make mackerel cooked with tea in an easy way. Mackerel cooked is a traditional food for home meals in Vietnam.
Ingredients
500 g mackerel
150 g lean and fat pork
3 spoons of fish sauce
1 piece sugarcane (30 centimeters)
50 g green tea leaves
To taste: Caramel sauce, seasoning (which consists largely of salt and MSG), pepper and salt.
Preparation
1. Remove gills and intestines for the mackerel; wash and cut the mackerel into pieces; sprinkle with salt and toss slightly; drain; then bake or try quickly.
2. Wash and boil the green tea leaves in a pot f water to obtain the amount of water to cover mackerel.
3. Cut the pork into pieces thick and large in width.
4. Whittle the bark off sugarcane; split into tape; lay on the bottom of pot; place the mackerel and pork on top; add the fish sauce, caramel sauce and seasoning; por the tea into the pot and bring to boil; cook, covered, over low heat until there is no more water in the pot; sprinkle with pepper; remove from heat; serve cool with hot rice.
