4 Million Visitors In Gyeongju World Culture Festival

Gyeongju World Culture Festival 2017 Welcomes 4 Million Visitors

After 23 days, there are nearly 4 millions visitors come to Gyeongju World Culture Festival 2017 which was held in Ho Chi Minh City.

Gyeongju is the culture festival between Vietnam, Republic of Korea and 17 others countries. According to Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong at the close ceremony on 2rd December, there are 4 millions visitors were attracted to this festival.

The festival was not only focus on culture of Vietnam and Republic of Korea but also promote and helping people to understand about the other countries.

The memorandum of understanding on friendship cooperation signed between Ho Chi Minh city and Gyeongsangbuk-do province is an important milestone and foundation for future cooperation between the two localities, Mr. Phong stressed. This will bolster the dynamic role of Ho Chi Minh city in cultural exchanges and international cooperation.

Governor of Gyeongsangbuk-do province Kim Kwan Yong said that the successful of festival will open a new trap of friendship between Vietnam’s biggest city and Gyeongsangbuk-do, a opportunities for  cooperation such as culture, tourism, economic and education.
