Hoi An town will hold many special programs to welcome New Year, according to Centre for Culture and Sports of Hoi An City.
The Hoi An New Year Festival will be held from 24th December 2017 to 2nd January 2018 at An Hoi Sculpture Garden.
There are many activities include in this festival such as folk art performance, culinary arts, and especially a photo exhibition called Quang Nam tourism 2017 which showcase photos took by profestinal and amauter photograhers all around the country.
The highlight of this festival is a reproduction of Hoi An by night in the early 20th century will be presented, and a ceremony to give awards to travel agents which took the largest number of tourists to the city in 2017.
On the first day of 2018, at Chua Cau or Japanese Covered Bridge, a special program will be held at 9.00 AM to welcome the first visitor to the ancient town in 2018.
