A cooperation agreement was signed by flag carriers of Vietnam – Poland to offer more travel option for their passengers.
The sign ceremony between Vietnam Airlines and when Polish President Andrzej Duda visited Vietnam in the ends of this November.
Passengers at the moment can buy tickets from Vietnam Airlines or LOT Polish Airlines to travel between Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City and capital city Warsaw via the transshipment points of Paris, Frankfurt, Moscow and London thanks for this agreement. Vietnam Airlines will transfer passenger from/to Vietnam to these transshipment points while LOT will handle the rest of journey between transit cities and Warsaw.
Passengers also are allowed to purchase tickets for whole trip just one time through Vietnam Airlines of LOT and get preferential rates.
Vietnam Airlines and LOT have cooperated since 1998, said by Trinh Ngoc Thanh – Deputy General Director of Vietnam Airlines.
The number of visitors between Poland and Vietnam increased 5.5% per year between 2011 and 2016, up to 24000 people. 90% of this number are Polish arrived Vietnam.
