Ho Chi Minh City To Welcomes More MICE Tourists

Number of MICE Tourists (meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions) arrives Ho Chi Minh City will increase in 2018, according to a report by the local Department of Tourism.

The city might welcome a MICE group with about 4000 people in next May, said by Bui Ta Hoang Vu, the director of the city’s department.

He also announced that MICE and waterway are main purpose of tourism the city focus on next year.

In 2017, about 6.38 millions foreigner visited Ho Chi Minh City and made 116 trillion VND income, a 22.8 persent and 12.6 percent increase from 2016.

The number is expected to rise to 7.5 million next year, he said.
