Insider: Mu Cang Chai Got Into Most Visit-worthy List

The northern Yen Bai province’s Mu Cang Chai has recently been named among top 19 worthy visit destination around the world by US travel site Insider.

The district was mentioned as hidden gem of northern of Vietnam by American writer Sarah Schmalbruch in an article.

Depending on the time of year, the colour of the rice terraces varies from emerald green to golden yellow and light brown.

According to Insider, visitors should come to visit Mu Cang Chai at October if they want to see amazing landscape of endless rice fields.

Mu Cang Chai’s high is about 1000 meters above sea level and it located 300 kilometers away from Hanoi to the north.

The terraces were recognised as a national heritage in 2007 by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
