Sapa Winter Festival 2017 will be held between 22nd and 31st December to respond activities of Viet Nam National Tourism Year: Lao Cai – Northwestern Region.
The snow discover festival will be highlight of this event in order to celebrate Christmas and 2018 New Year Eve with many activities such as love duet singing, ethnic musical instrument performances, traditional games and local specialties introduction.
On 31st, there will be a Fire Dancing Festival of Red Dzao people, street parade to showcase the beauty of unique ethnic costumes, lion and dragon dance in the center of Sapa Town.
This year end festival will be right in the middle of coldest time in Sapa and it expected to bring snow to the town and mountains surround like in Europe which attracts tourists a lot.
