Vietnamese Culture Tourism Festival In Republic of Korea

On 22nd December, in Republic of Korea the Vietnamese Culture Tourism Festival will be held as part of celebrating the 25th anniversary diplomatic relations between 2 countries.

During the festival, a tourism promotion will introduce tourism potential of Vietnam and new tourism products for Republic of Korea’s market.

As a report issued by Korea Tourism Organisation in Vietnam, until the ends of  November this year over 302,200 Vietnamese tourists visited the Republic of Korea, a rise of 29.9 percent year on year, making Viet Nam the eighth largest market of the Republic of Korea.

Vietnam also received over 1.54 million Korean arrivals in 2016, up 38.7 percent compared to 2015. There were more than 2.15 million Korean tourists visited Vietnam until the ends of this November, a surge of 55.3 percent year on year. The Republic of Korea ranks second only after China in the number of visitors to the Southeast Asian country.
