Visitors to Yen Tu Pagoda in Quang Ninh Province will need to buy tickets from 1st January 2018 after a long time of offering free entrance.
This is a solution to cover the cost of renovating Yen Tu Pagoda.
Ticket fee is 40,000 VND for adult and 20,000 VND for children. Children under 1.2 meters or under 7 years old, person with disabilities, Buddhist or Buddhist delegates are free, and elderly people will benefit from 50% discounts on the entrance fees.
Back to December 2016, the plan to collecting money for ticket was canceled because at this time there are many projects were under construction in the relic.
